Salamanders? Salamanders.


In 2021, I began learning macro photography with the intention of bettering my research. Here are a few examples and updates.


The newts were photographed on an eDNA outing in Red River Gorge.


The larvae photos are from a friend's project. For the sake of scientific anonymity, I'll wait to share details on that project until it's published.

Notophthalmus viridescens (Eastern newt) adult from Red River Gorge.

This larvae is of the Eurycea genus
